Open Question: I have a 642 credit score, where can i get a business loan?
I have the opportunity to purchase a restaurant for a great price. Current owners have to sell now due to health. I have a credit score of 642 due to high balanced credit cards. All debts are current, no foreclosures. Credit cards used for need not pleasure. I'm having a problem getting a loan. Current owners have kept terrible records so the one company that was considering me, backed out. I have been in the business for 15 years and my fiance for 25 years. I need 45K to purchase and 15K for working capitol. Business is located in downtown area near plenty of businesses and government buildings. I can not offer home equity or a large down payment. I am currently working three jobs to raise money but owners are working hard to sell. I don't want to loose this opportunity. Looking for someone to take a chance on me. Any suggestions?
