Open Question: Buying a home in foreclosure?

I am in NY. Has anyone brought a home in foreclosure before? Exactly how does this work? We found the most beautiful home that we would never be able to afford for around $30,000. It just seems too good to be true. Has anyone had anythingl ike this work out for them before? more…
