Foreclosures up 80% !!!! Housing prices down!! Perspective, please. The foreclosure rate was .5%, that means if you are in a room with 100 people 1/2 a person…..ooops, that sounds grotesque……in a room with 200 people 1 person got foreclosed before, and now its 2. But 198 are fine. We should all feel badly for those losing their home, but let's get real here. Oh, and housing prices? Only a problem if you speculated right before the bubble burst. Prices are still up from any long term perspective.

The place in in Orange County, California. It is in a very good area, but there is some damage to one of the walls inside. Someone backed into it, and knocked one of the 2×4 studs about a foot through the bottom of the wall. The foreclosure asking price is $239. What would a reasonable offer be for me? Open Question: IF the economy is so rotten then how come…….?
With gas at nearly $4.00 a gallon across the country, how come I still sit in traffic along with tens of thousands of other cars each morning? If the housing market is so horrible, then how come less than 1 in 50 Americans are losing their homes to foreclosure? If consumer spending is so low, then how come IBM, Dell, and Microsoft still report double digit profits and BILLIONS in revenue off of Iphones, Itunes, Ipods, lap tops, and video game systems? (did you buy Grand Theft Auto IV yet?) Seems to me that the risiding cost of gas isn't forcing people to stay home, the housing market crash isn't affecting nearly as many Americans as we are led to believe, and it seems like Americans STILL have plenty of money for cell phones, video games, porn, alcohol, Hannah Montana tickets, and designer clothing! So what's the problem? Funny………..people ASSuming that because I asked this question that I am a fan of George Dubya Bush! I thought it was Bush who said "youre either with us or against us" not the liberals!
