Open Question: ex not paying mortgage/he's going bankrupt?
Divorced since 9/2007. Ex responsible for paying first mortgage as per divorce decree. House on market since 3/2008. 4/2008 he stopped paying mortgage I just found out he is going bankrupt. June 1, mtg company will start foreclosure process. How can I save my house from being forclosed, I still need to sell can't afford it by myself.

Open Question: Is it advisable to give personal information to people you don't know?
Identity theft is RAMPANT in America. I can only guess what it might be like in the UK or Canada or elsewhere in the world. I have been called a trouble maker for urging others (especially friendly senior citizens) to think twice before they join chat groups & share info on the internet. THE WORLD IS ABLE TO READ EVERYTHING THAT IS POSTED. Con Artists, thieves, & dishonest people gather information DAILY in hopes they can learn enough to crack a persons security passwords on the internet & attain a home address where they can then take your mail & start re-routing your life without you ever having knowledge…until it's too late. Your bank accounts are empty. Your credit is maxed out. Cells phone accounts with calls to criminals. Guns registered in you name. Houses & cars in your name (some in foreclosure). Children you have enrolled in schools (yet you have none). Jobs you never had (reported to SS using your number). How did they get all this info?

Open Question: Water softener leak - what should I do?
I just moved into this new house and ever since I turned the main water line on (it was a foreclosure), the water softener has been leaking a lot of water. I took a picture of it: http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg160/cylanth/leak1.jpg I even turned it off last week, and its still leaking water daily. If this is a simple fix, please let me know. I purchased my home for $200K in 2005.There are about 5 homes on my street identical to mine and are selling for $137K due to foreclosure. Market sucks so bad that I know no onewould buy my home,but, I would loveto purchase one of the foreclosed homes.Any ideas on how to do that?

I am looking to rent a home in mobile Al. I am looking for a "nice" enough neighborhood. ie..not midtown unless the nice dist. No prichard…Im sure we know where we are going with this. I donot want to spend no more than $700 mo. I make pplenty of money, so that may be a way to get around my recent foreclosure of a mobile home that cost me 1200 mo. (not our fault, they wouldnt work with us, they had pleny chances.) I can handle paying rent with no problem, but I know foreclosures look bad on ur credit….what can I do besides "by owner"? Please help
