Open Question: what to do when a house is up for foreclosure in the middle of separation between spouses?
Me and my husband separated 3 months ago. We own a house together.I had to leave the house because of a bad relationship with him. Now I have a letter from a mortgage company,stating that the house will be up foreclosure if I don't cover mortgage payments for those 3 months,for which my husband and I didn't pay. I have no contact with him. He is not willing to fix this situation.How do I solve this issue, if I can't afford to make those payments either. What's my next step to save my credit history, or at least do to the least damage to it?

Open Question: Why foreclosure one this lone?
my brother why has been paying on his home for 11 years is now getting foreclosed on because he got behind when he was hurt and off work he now has the money to cache up his loan but the bank refuses to work with him? this just sound crazy to me and bordering illegal. any suggestions or know of any one who can help?
